Gymkhana Games Description:

Barrels
Three barrels set up in triangle. Circle from inside left or right barrel, cross to other barrel, circle from inside, down far barrel, circle far side, back through starting line.

Pole Bending
Run down to far end, start from left to right, weave your way through 5 poles, weave your way back, back to starting line.

Keyhole
Rope laid out in keyhole shape, cross starting line, run to keyhole, enter and spin around, back to starting line.

Scurry
Jump three rails at 16", race around pole and jump back.

Jumping

Jumping- Cross rail, 2'3", 2'6"

All jumping classes will consist of 10 jumps.

          • The riders challenge is to complete the course without any faults.
          • A fault would be:
            • Knocking down a rail or any part of the jump
            • Refusal to jump
            • Circling before a jump
          • Each fault has 4 penalty points.
          • If a rider has 3 refusals or falls off they are eliminated.
          • Complete the course with no faults and move on to a timed jump off.
          • Fastest time with no faults wins.

Hoof and Woof

  • All dogs are eligible, puppies (18 months and younger) will have lower jumps. Very old or disabled dogs will do the Novice course.
  • Treats are allowed.
  • 2 attempts per obstacle are allowed, after 2 refusals a time fault will be added.
  • Intermediate and advanced are not allowed to touch the dog, or obstacle, except for the teeter totter, which intermediate may touch. Any infraction of this rule will result in an added time fault.
  • Advanced does the course off leash. If the dog or equipment is touched it will result in added time faults. At all other times dogs must be kept on leash.
  • Off course will result in disqualification.
